Quick Update:
Yesterday Marlon & I visited our midwife and after reviewing my medical history & the tests from my induction, she believes that a genetic issue prompted our loss. I did find a bit of solace in her analysis, though it is still a difficult time. I was truly grateful for her genuine concern and encouragement.
Although this is a difficult topic to discuss, our children are adjusting well. Last week we asked them if they had questions and then showed them baby blanket & crocheted snuggly given by the hospital. I also kept the beautifully made blanket big sister Mariah made for the baby.
Again, I don't intend to broadcast much more detail on the matter, unless YHWH would lead me to share those things He is guiding us in. However, I did want to share our most recent update for those who have been so kind to encourage us during this challenging time. Currently, in addition to a time of reflection/grieving, I am still observing the Biblical instructions of Niddah, so I will remain on "light duty" for the next few weeks. FYI-I'm maintaining "still" by lots of reading, research, writing & of course blogging (have you noticed??:-) )
Here are a few pictures taken after my follow-up appointment with Marlon's extended arm:
